barcoo is an independent service allowing consumers to download product information directly to their phones. Using the app, consumers can scan the barcode of products and obtain background information about the product. Barcoo is well known through TV and print, and already more than two million Germans have installed the app.
For manufacturers we now offer the opportunity to provide background information about the product or about themselves directly after the scan. The information will be specified with its source of content. This is very effective since at this precise moment, the consumer has the product in their hand and can refer to the information.
